School superintendents from seven counties and one city will meet with state officials March 19 to discuss a survey of student interest in a projected state technical college near Front Royal. Dr. Dana B. Hamel, director of the State Department of Technical Education, will meet with area school superintendents at 11 a.m. Friday at Front Royal Town Hall. Accompanying Dr. Hamel will be Dr. Eric Rhodes, representative of the education con suiting firm that will conduct the study. School superintendents, scheduled to attend Friday’s meeting, come from Warren, Page, Rappahannock, Frederick, Clarke, Shenandoah and Fauquier counties and from Winchester. Dr. Hamel and Dr. Rhodes are expected to discuss an area survey of student interest in a technical college at a site on Beef Cattle Research Station prop-' erty, a few miles south of Front Royal. In a session following the meeting with school superintendents Dr. Hamel and Dr. Rhodes plan to outline a survey of area business, professions and industry.
