Mrs. Jean Menefee
Mrs. Jean M; Menefee, 24, wife of Richard Lea Menefee of Washington, Va. died Saturday, March 13, 1965. She was the daughter of Clinton and Nora Jenkins of Washington who survive her. Also surviving in addition to her husband are three children, Carl Richard age 5 1/2 years, Peggie Jean age 3 years, and , Marjorie Jean, age 5 months; three brothers, George Jenkins of Finksburg, Md., Robert Jenkins of Charlottesville and Charles Jenkins of Washington, Va. A funeral service was held Wednesday at the Washington Baptist Church at 2 p.m. conducted by the Rev. Arnold Sorrells with interment in the Masonic Cemetery at Washington.
W. C. Green
William Clifton Green of Amissville died Tuesday, March 16, 1965. in Culpeper Memorial Hospital after a long illness. A native of Rappahannock County, he was 74 years old. Surviving Mr. Green are his wife, Mrs. Mary Hitt Green; two daughters, Mrs. Virgie Bywaters and Mrs. Margaret Stover, all of Amissville; 10 grandchildren and 4 greatgrandchildren.
Also surviving are three brothers, Walter Green of Washington, D. C., Claude Green, Warrenton and Wesley Green of Maryland. A funeral service will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Amissville Methodist Church with the Rev. James Harrison and the Rev. Charles Kindred officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jerry Bartholow, Marvin Green, Charlie Priest, Elmer Hitt, Pete Lillard and John KendalL Arrangements are being handled by Geest Funeral Pa* ;lors.
