Warning Issued

Concerning Paints

A warning has been issued by the Virginia Department of Agriculture concerning certain franchises being offered on so-called miracle paints. The department has discovered that some of the paints offered by out-of-state manufacturers on an exclusive fran chise do not comply with the Virginia Paint Law. The franchises are offered

We, the undersigned, W. C. Armstrong, Jr., Chairman, and H. 1.. Baxley, Secretary of the 28th Legislative District of Virginia, consisting of the Counties of Fauquier, Rappahannock, and Warren, hereby certify that the following is a true and correct copy of a resolution adopted by it at a meeting of said commit-tee held at Front Royal, Virginia, in Warren County, on the 24th day of February, 1965.

"RESOLVED that the nomination of the candidates for the office listed below to be elected in the November 2, 1965, General Election shall be made by the direct primary method and that a primary for the nomination of said office shall be held on July 13, 1965, pursuant to the provisions of the State Primary Law:

Member of the House of Delegates of Virginia.

All candidates for said office shall file their declaration of candidacy with W. C. Armstrong, Jr., Chairman of the Democratic Legislative District Committee for the 28th Legislative District of Virginia, consisting of the Counties of Fauquier, Rappahannock and Warren, at Front Royal, Warren County, Virginia, at least 90 days before said primary to be held on July 13, 1965, and if not more than one candidate shall file for said position, he shall be declared the Democratic nominee of the party for the House of Delegates from the aforesaid district.”
