In 2-Car Collision
There were no injuries when two vehicles collided near Pine Knot Inn Saturday night, March 13, but damage to the cars was estimated at $600? according to Trooper W. A. Buntin. Carroll Freeman of Washington operating a '64 Ford convertible was passing another car on a grade when he met Vandrew Daniel Fletcher in a ’59 Pontiac, said Mr. Buntin. The accident occurred at 10:30 p.m. on Route 211 between Washington and Sperryville. Freeman was charged with reckless driving.
