The Flint Hill firemen and additional guests were well fed and entertained at the annual banquet given by the Ladies Auxiliary last Tuesday evening at the fire hall in Flint Hill.
The ladies served a bountiful dinner of old Virginia ham and oysters to the more than ; 95 people attending. H. S. Barksdale, master of ceremonies, introduced guest! speaker, Bob Priode, who is! ! superintendent of the U. S.j Cattle Research Station atj Front Royal. Entertainment was provided ' by the Barracudas, a local musical group, who presented several selections of lively music. The Barracudas are Wayne Sutphin, drummer, Patrick Foster, Jody Sutphin and John Moore, guitarists; and Cecil Pullen, vocalist. Guests introduced were Delegate Tom Frost of Warrenton Mr. and Mrs. Ken Gordon of WFTR, Rebecca Poe of Northern Virginia Daily; Mrs. Priode, Douglas Blanton, Tho! mas Fussell, Rufus Wall, Park Ranger Bob Johnson, Judge Leroy Corron, W. C. Williams, Winifred Herr, Raymond Riley Abe Silek, Dr. Edwin Eastham, J. R. Latham and D. D. Miller of Rappahannock.
