New Minister at Baptist Churches
The Rev. William A. Harrison has accepted the pastorate of Reynolds Memorial Baptist Church, Sperryville and the F. T. Valley Baptist Church. Mr. Harrison attended Bluefield College; is a graduate of the University of Richmond; and received his Bachelor of Divinity degree in May from Southwestern Baptist Theolo gical Seminary in Fort Worth Texas. He served as a student pastor of Northminster Baptist Church in Richmond, while at Richmond College. He was pastor of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Blackjack, Texas dur ing his seminary years. Mr. Harrison will be ordained at a service to be held Sept. 12 at 7:30 p.m. in the Westhampton Baptist Church, Richmond. He is married to the former Judith Roberson of Newport News who also attended Blue field College. Worship services will be held at Reynolds Memorial on the 2nd and '4th Sundays and at the F. T. Church on the 1st and 3rd Sundays.
