Wise of Seaford, Del. and owned by O. A. Newton and Son Co. of Bridgeville, Del., according to Trooper Buntin. Injured in the collision were Billy Mason Perry of Washington, D. C. who had lacerations of the forehead and contusions of the right arm. Thomas Harrison King, also of D. C., sustained lacerations of the forehead. Both men were treated at the office of Dr. John Snead and released Damage to the Ford was estimated at $800 and to the Plymouth $400. Cook was charged with failing to yield the right of way. Sunday morning at 2:30 a.m. a single vehicle crash occurred five and a half miles west of Sperryville on Route 211. Robert Lester Beeler of Knoxville, Tenn., operating a 1964 Oldsmobile rounded a left curve and ran off the right of the road and turned over in the ditch. He was uninjured and damage wasestimat ed at $800. He was charged with failing to maintain proper control of his vehicle by Troop er Buntin. The car was owned by Lynn Spurgeon of Vint Hill Farms near Warrenton where Beeler is stationed.
Rapp’k Garden Club To Meet at Panorama
The Rappahannock Garden Club will meet at Panorama on September 15 at one o’clock for a Dutch treat lunch. After lunch the group will motor to Elk Wallow to view the slides of the various scenes of interest throughout the park and of of the animal life that inhabits the park.
