Funds disbursed under the Committees’ supervision last year amounted to $90,000. Last year also, 4676 acres of farmland were improved under the Agricultural Conservation Program costs ha ring arrangement. This cost $80,000, with about half coming from the participating farmer, the balance from ACP. Each community election will choose three community committeemen and two alternates. The chairman, vice chairman, and third regular member of the elected ASC community c o m m i 11 e e will also serve as delegates to the county convention to be held soon thereafter. The ASC coun ty committee will be choser at the convenion.
