Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Holmes and children and her father Walter Miller, all of Baltimore, Md. were guests from Saturday through Monday of Mrs. Ida Holmes. Sunday Mrs Holmes and her houseguests were visitors of Mrs. Tony Fisher in Remington. Mrs. Ethel Cooksey and Mrs Annie Latham had as visitors Saturday evening the Rev. and Mrs. A. C. Walker and children and Mary Lou Robinson, all of Culpeper. Mrs. Gilbert Dennis and daughter Landra were Monday visitors in the Cooksey home. The Rev. and Mrs. Fletcher Osborne attended homecoming services Sunday at Fletchers Chapel Methodist Church in King George County. Mr. and Mrs. S. D. Hutton accompanied by Mrs. Elizabeth Shumate and son Frankie and Mr. and Mrs. John Smith of Front Royal and Mrs. William Green of Gainesville spent several days at Colonial Beach returning home Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Hutton were overnight visitors Monday of Mrs. Green and with her spent Tuesday in Richmond.
Miss Ellen Phalen returned to her'home in Harrisonburg Friday after spending a week with Mrs. C. J. Moss. Mrs. Clyde Harrington of Alexandria was a visitor last Wednesday of her mother, Mrs.
