For Dr. Schweitzer
A short Memorial Service was held Tuesday at the Wash^ ington Baptist Church, following the regular missionary meeting, for Dr. Albert Schweitzer who died Saturday in the jungle hospital he founded in Lambarene, Gabon. Tribute was paid him as "the world’s greatest missionary". The 90-year-old physician, philosopher and musiciandied in his hut at the jungle hospital he founded a half century ago which was, as he said, “An African hospital for Africans". He has long been an inspiration for all missionary efforts and few men have enjoyed equal acclaim in their lifetime. Rewarded with a Nobel peace prize in 1953, with typical dedication, he used the $33,200 jaward for his leper colony,
