Mrs. James Lillard returned home Sunday after undergoing surgery at Culpeper Memorial Hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Reid and three sons of Arlington and their houseguest Miss Adelle Adourmin of Athens, Greece were week-end guests of Mr. Reid’s mother Mrs.C. G. Reid at Rose Cottage. Mr. and Mrs. H. T. Updike and daughter Gail were guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Parker in Culpeper. Mrs. Veronica Keating of Washington, D. C. was the week-end guest of Miss Helen Fuller at Helen House. Frank Wayland and Mr. and Mrs. James Wayland and three children of Frankfort, Ohio were guests for several days of Mr. and Mrs. Stant Weavet On Sunday the Weaver’s enter tained with a picnic dinner. Other guests present were Mr. and Mrs. Leo Wood of Takoma Park, Md., Mrs. Nick Penaranda and three children of Fairfax, Mr. and Mrs. John Williams and Lester Wayland of Culpeper, Mr. and Mrs. Chester Wayland of Woodville and Mr. and Mrs. Tommie Wayland and son Eddie of Sper ryville. John Weaver of Wash ington, D.C. spent the day Sat urday with his parents Mr. and Mrs. Stant Weaver.
