Monday the secret word was “Smile". The photographer from Delmar Studios, Mr. Richard Vestal, was at RCHS to take class pictures for the yearbook. After school Monday, Mr. Vestal met with the annual staff and their advisor, Mr. Norman Skinner, to brief them on cover designs, layouts, deadlines, etc. Anyone who is interested in selling ads for ' the annual, please contact Leslie Hayes, Editor, or Carolyn Johnston, Business Manager. Saturday RCHS was wellrepresented at the annual meeting of the Shenandoah District SCA. Those attending were Page Moffett, Carter Moffett, Janet Hackley, Larry Hackley, Leslie Hayes, Jeanne Woodard, Martha Shillingburg Miss Luerena Zinn and Mrs. Myra Wolf. Martha Shillingburg and Mrs. Wolf served as group discussion leader and group advisor, respectively, on the topic "How the SCA Can Encourage Students to Respect Property and Accept Responsibility”. The Junior Class officers met this week to plan their money-making project for the year. Joan Lee, Junior Class President said that the class had decided to sell candy again this year to raise money for the Junior-Senior Prom.
