entertained a party for dinner on Wednesday evening at their home in town. Among those present were Mr. and Mrs. James W. Coates, Mr. and Mrs. Carson Johnson, David Layman and Al Balmard. Mr. and Mrs. John Eubank, Jr. were guests on Sunday of Mrs. Eubank’s parents* Mr. and Mrs. Robert Nethers at Flint Hill. Mr. and Mrs. John Lowery of Winchester were Sunday visitors in the home of Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Aylor. Rannie Aylor and Roger Lee Anderson were recent week-end guests of Buddy Aylor in Arlington and visited Joe Henry Aylor who remains a patient in the Veteran’s Hospital in Washington, D. C. Staff-Sgt. Jimmy E. Swindler anti two of his children Natalie and Jimmy, Jr. of Manassas were guests for the week-end of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Swindler.
Birthday Dinner
On Sunday the daughters and son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Campbell gathered at their Farm at Woodville for dinner to help Mr. Campbell celebrate his 85th birthday. Those attending were Mr. and Mrs. Lillard Settle of Reva; Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Weaver and sons Robert and Joe of Boston; Mr. and Mrs. Russell Grigsby and sons Joe and John of Haywood; Mr. and Mrs. C. M. Gaines, son C. M., Jr., and daughter Linda Belle of Slate Mills and James Campbell who lives at home. .
