mouth bass, 84,000 sunfish and 100,000 channel catfish. The season bass take per mile of river ranged from 190 to 655 for the different sections sampled. Fisherman hours per stream mile varied from 1,094 to 1,712 with experimental aerial, counts indicating fishingpressures'as high as 2,933 hours on some one mile stretches. Fishing pressure was heaviest during May and July. Creel surveys revealed a preponderance of small bass under 12 inches. This was also borne out by fish .population samples which revealed excellent reproduction.
