Amissville and Washington are giving the trophy for the W. A. Laing Memorial Jr. race, to be run on the flat, 1/2 mile, by riders under 18 years, on horses or ponies. The Hon. Tom Frost of Warrenton is giving the piece of silver for the Double Gate Turf Race, a newly instituted fixture in the Rappahannock program, for ladies and gentlemen, over 3/4 mile of slight ly rolling terralne. The trophy for the ladies race, the Mt. Salem, will be given and presented by Mr.. Hubert B. Phipps of Warrenton and Marshall. Father and son, Messrs Douglas and James Swan of Culpeper are the donors of the silver to be presented to the winner of the strenuous gentle men's 3-mile race over 16 jumps. Mr. and Mrs. William L. Rochester, Jr. of Warrenton will give the trophy for the big Mary D. Slaughter Me morial race, open to bothama teurs and professionals. The Ben Venue, a 2 1/2-mile jump ing race, is for men competing
