Mr. and Mrs. Thomas B. Massie attended the Morgan Daugherty wedding Saturday in Pulaski. Miss Mollie Smith of Long wood College spent the week end at her home Spring House Farm. The Rev. and Mrs. Charles F. Glaenzer are expected to return to The Rectory today after a month’s vacation spent In Florida. Mr. and Mrs. J. Lester Burke and son Karl, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Burke and son Richie spent Saturday in Winchester.
Mrs. Carson Anderson and niece Miss Annie Fell of Glen Burnle, Md. were visitors last Monday of Mrs. J. Lester Burke and family. Ray Snead of V.M.I. spent the weekend at his home Fairlea Farm. Massie, Jr. Mrs. Nick Penaranda and three children of Fairfaxwere the weekend guests of her parents Mr. and Mrs. J. Stant Weaver. D. J. Llewellyn of Front Royal was a visitor Saturday afternoon of E. B. Cary and they were callers of Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Aylor in Sperryville.
M. G. Watts is a patient in Newton D. Baker hospital where he is undergoing surgery on his foot. He expects to return home early next week.
