Mrs. Grimmer Heads
Heart Campaign
Mrs. James Grimmer of Flint Hill was appointed chairman of the 1966 Heart Fund Campaign in Rappahannock County. The chairman will be assisted by Mrs. Magdalene bearing of Washington as Vice Chairman. The campaign will be conducted here, and in more than 8500 other American communities, throughout February.
The following persons will serve as District committee chairmen in the month-long campaign for support to under write research, educational and community service activities of the local Heart Association: Hampton - Mrs. Elmo D. Flynt, Mrs. Eva Summons, and Mrs. Magdalene Dearing; Hawthorne - Mrs. Harry Gallihugh; Jackson - Mrs. Luther Stuart and Mrs. Irma Lawson; Piedmont-Mrs Fred Schaefer and Miss Ann?i Lewis; Stonewall - Mrs. James Falls and Mrs. Lucy Childs; and Wakefield - Mrs. 'Thomas B. Massie and Mrs. Mary Jordan. Mrs. Johnnie Harrison is in charge of the coin containers. The Heart Fund drive will reach its high point during the 4-day period starting February 17 when Heart Sunday volunteers in all residential areas will visit their neighbors or contact them by mail to distribute educational information on how to reduce your family’s risk of heart attack and to receive Heart Fund contributions.
