Wild Flower Program
At Library
The public is invited to attend a program on “Wildflowers of Northern Virginia" at the Rappahannock Library, Friday, March 25 at 7:30 p.m. This program, to be co-spon sored by the Rappahannock Garden Club and the Library, is free to all and should be of special interest to Rappahannock because a great number of the flowers were photo graphed in our county. Mr. Nelson Miller of Annandale will speak on identification, where the flowers are likely to be found, etc. as he presents color slides. He also plans to demonstrate the making of a terrarium of native wild plants and the foliar feed ing of plants. Mr. Miller is with the Cappet Corp. of Alexandria, wholesale distributors of garden and pet supplies. His, wife and children share his hobby of identifying and photograph ing wild flowers. Their expe ditions have carried them into the woods and waysides of many near-by places at dif ferent seasons of the year. The Millers have vacationed for the past two summers at the mountain cottage of the L. J. Kilbys near Sperryville.
