(Continued from Page 1) According to Hoskins the $7.00 permit will admit only the holder to places such as certain historic buildings where a per-personadmission fee 1s being charged. A nominal fee will be charged at such areas to those accompanying the holder of the $7.00 permit. Exempt from fee payment will be all persons under 16 years of age and organized school groups traveling through Shenandoah on an educational tour, including sponsors and driver of the vehicle; also those engaged In commercial or other activities not related to recreation. Commercial passenger-carrying vehicle operators are not entitled to use the $7.00 permit. Hoskins pointed out that all proceeds from fees collected under the Act go into a special fund from which Congress will make appropriations to provide urgently needed public outdoor recreation areas and facilities. He said that 60% of the annual appropriations will be available to the States.
