Mrs. Smith Hostess For Bridge Club
Mrs. Harry Lee Smith entertained two tables of the Washington Bridge Club or Thursday evening at Spring House Farm. Her guests were Mrs. W. F. Moffett, Mrs. G. W. Smith, Jr., Mrs. C. B. Palmer, Mrs. T. C. Lea, Mrs. W. H. Massie, Jr., Mrs. L. J. Turner, Mrs. RaynerV. Snead and Mrs. Henry M. Keyser. Prizes were won by Mrs. Keyser, Mrs. Turner, Mrs. Snead, and Mrs. Lea.

Mrs. Sarah Latham of Amiss ville entertained with a luncheon Thursday at Hampton Inn, Washington. Her guests included her mother, Mrs. C. C. Cockerill, her four sisters, Mrs. John D. Peck, Mrs. Herman Kephart, Mrs. James Powell and Mrs. H. B. Peck, all of Herndon; Miss Annie Miller Almond, Mrs. George H. Davis, Jr. and Mrs. Henry M. Keyser, Washington and Mrs. W. L. Payne, Amissville. Miss Almond and the two Mrs. Pecks were teachers atFloris Elementary School before Miss Almond’s retirement.
