Mrs. C. B. Palmer spent Friday nigjit with Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Luck in Ashland and tfleT-emainder of this week end with her mother Mrs. J. A. Elmore in Lawrenceville. David Palmer will arrive Friday to spend a ten day mid-quarter break from VPI with his parents. Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Palmer. Mrs. Francis Slaughter of Odenton, Md. and daughters Mrs. Billie Howie and son Jeff of Odenton and Miss Anne Slaughter of Washington, D.

jc. were callers Saturday after noon of Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Keyser, at The Oaks. Capt. William W. Weiner of Bridgewater was the overnight guest Thursday of Mr. and Mrs. W. Arthur Miller at Mt. Prospect. Mrs. B. R. Cox spent last week at her home on Mt. Salem Avenue. Mr. and Mrs. George H. Davis, Jr., and Miss Cil Davis visited Mr. Davis’ aunts Miss Mary Liza Davis, Miss Anne Davis and Miss Sally Graves Sunday at the Riverside Nursing Home in Fredericksburg. Mrs. Thomas Howie of Staur> ton was the week-end guest of Judge and Mrs. T. C. Lea and family at their home Green Back Farm. Mr. and Mrs. B. N. Eubank of Roanoke were guests from Sunday until Tuesday of Mrs. L. J. Turner. On Monday Mrs Eubank was the luncheon guest of Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Campbell and Mr. Eubank was a business visitor in Culpeper.
