Greenwood. Capt. Richard McNear has completed an engineering course at Purdue University and is spending a month at Greenwood. Thomas Rees has returned from the University of Virginia Hospital and Is convales cing at his home Reescroft. Mr. and Mrs. Leo Wood of Tokoma Park, Md. were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. Stant Weaver. Mrs. Nick Penaranda and three children of Fairfax were Saturday visitors. Last Thursday Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Hawkins, Mrs. Cary Thornhill and granddaughter of Boston were guests of the Stant Weavers. William M. Stuart of Beltsville, Md. spent last week at his home on Blue Ridge Avenue.
The Rev! and Mrs. Charles F. Glaenzer were in Tappahannock Sunday P.M. and Monday and attended the graduation of Mr. Glaenzer’s niece from St. Margaret’s School. Mrs. George H. Davis, Jr. and daughter Miss Dorothy Taylor Davis went by plane last Wednesday to Johnson, Vermont. Mrs. Davis returned and Miss Davis remained for a week’s visit with her brother-in-law and sister the Rev. and Mrs. Park Dickerson and infant daughter.
