For Bridge Club

Mrs. Harry Lee Smith was hostess to the Washington Bridge Club and guests Thurs day night at Spring House Farm. The players were Mrs. W. F. Moffett, Jr., Mrs. C.B. Palmer, Mrs. W. H. Massie, Jr., Mrs. T. C. Lea, Mrs. D. D. Miller, Mrs. L. J. Turner, Mrs. R. E. Wood, Mrs. Elmo D. Flynt, Mrs. Ralph Styer, Mrs. Henry M. Keyser, Mrs. F. B. Jacobsen and Mrs. Rayner V. Snead. Prizes went to Mrs. Jacobsen, Mrs. Styer, Mrs. Turner and Mrs. Massie.

Birthday Party

Charles Allen Brown was honored with a birthday party Saturday night given by his parents Mr. and Mrs. Buddy Brown at their home in Sperry ville. Guests included Mr. and Mrs. Bennie Pullen, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Pullen and Junior of Flint Hill, Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Weaver of Oak Park, Richard Menefee and children Carl, Peggy, and Margie, Mrs. Ann V. Jenkins and son Robert, Jr., Becky and Debbie Alther, all of Washingon. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Brown, Mrs. Phil Swartz, Mr. and Mrs. Lester Yates and daughters Lois and Janet ofSperryville. The honoree received many wonderful gifts.
