Miss Jacqueline Marcil of Amissville and Washington, D.C., became the bride of Paul Newton of Forest Park,
[Illinois, in a morning ceremony Saturday, June 4, 1966, in the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Warrenton, Va. The bride is the daughter of Fernand Mftrcil of Baltimore, Md. and Mrs. Paul Marlowe of Altamonte Springs, Fla. Mr. Newton is the son of Roscoe Newton and the late Mrs. Newton of Streeter, 111.
The double ring ceremony was performed by the Reverend Vincent Campi. The church was decorated with palms, white gladioli and light ed candles. Mrs. Louise Edge, organist, presented a program of nuptual music and traditional marches. The bride was given in map riage by her uncle, Stanish W. Riley, of Amissville. Her full length gown of white satin was designed and made by her aunt, Mrs. Stanish Riley. It was fashioned with a fitted bodice a scalloped sabrina neckline edged in lace and long tapered lacesleeves. The hooped skirt, sweeping to a chapel train edged in lace, was scissor pleated at the waistline and had a front panel of imported Chantilly lace. The back was complimented with three tiered insets edged in lace.
