The Warren-Rappahannock Public School System has arranged for University of Virginia Extension classes to be held this summer from June 13 through July 1. Teachers and interested persons are eligible to attend either of these classes. Public school teachers can expect reduced tuition since both of these classes will be State-aid classes. Persons teaching in private schools and other interested persons must come prepared to pay the full tuition. These classes will be most helpful to teachers who are actively engaged in the profession of teaching as well as persons who are interested in some of the newer concepts and materials available to teachers and pupils. These courses are: Problems of Teaching Reading - E108B which will be held at Warren County High School, beginning at 8:00a.m., June 13. Tuition - $46.00. Children’s Literature - E143 which will be held at Rappahannock County High School, beginning at 8:00 a.m., June 13. Tuition - $46.00. Interested persons must attend the first class in order to register with the University of Virginia. Registration and fees will be paid on this day. Also, a class in Introduction to College English will be offered to those students who wish to prepare, themselves for college this fall. This course will be held at Warren County High School, beginning at 8:00 a.m., on June 13, 1966. The course is not a remedial course. It is a course designed primarily to prepare collegebound students for college English. Tuition will be charged for this course and will be payable to the University of Virginia on the first day of the class. Registration procedure will also be explained on the first day of class.
