Public Hearing on
Zoning Friday
A public hearing on proposed zoning ordinances will be held tomorrow, Friday, when the Rappahannock County Board of Supervisors convene for the regular July meeting. The County Planning Committee has established the ordinances and recommended their adoption by the Board All residents interested may attend the meeting and express their views.
4-H’ers Attend State
Short Course
More than eleven hundred boys and girls from throughout Virginia gathered on the Virginia Tech campus at Blacksburg Monday to start the 43rd annual State 4-H Short Course, which runs through tomorrow. Attending from Rappahannock County are Ellis Smith of Amissville, Aletta Beebe of Castleton, Carter Moffett of Washington, Tommy Williams and Sandra Foster, both of Flint Hill. The group was welcomed Monday night at opening assembly by Dr. T. Marshall Hahn, Jr., Tech president. Theme of the 1966 Short Course is "Values in Focus Through 4-H".
