Church, member of the Roanoke Valley Kiwanis Club, ap' pointed member State Advisory Committee to V.P.I. School of Agriculture, and the Virginia Feed Industry Advisory Committee. He is a former member of the Education Committee of Virginia Baptist General Board, and past president of Lignum Ruritan Club. He is now Secretary-Treasurer of the Piedmont Egg Marketing Association and has served as president of the Virginia Egg Council. For the past two years, he has been employed by the Federal Government, serving as Area Manager in 33 counties of Western Virginia for the U. S. Treasury Department, the Savings Bond Division. Hill is married to the former Virginia Thompson of Appomattox, Virginia and they have five children and live on U. S. Highway 3, east of Culpeper, Virginia.

Pvt. Carroll S. Russell, 20, son of Mr. and Mrs. Abner T. Russell, Huntly, Va., completed a Lineman’s course at the Army Southeastern Signal School, Fort Gordon, Ga., on June 17. ■ During his six weeks of training, he learned to lay and maintain open wire, lead and rubber-covered cable, and field communication wire.
