headpieces and their flowers were daisies. Mr. Dickens was his son's best man. Ushers were the bride’s brother, John Dodson of Akron, Ohio, and Thomas W. Fincham of Falls Church, Va. Mrs. Dodson chose for her daughter’s wedding a dress of beige lace over taffeta. She wore matching accessories and an orchid corsage. The groom's mother wore a dress of mint silk shantung with matching accessories. She also had an orchid corsage Following the ceremony a recption was held in the social hall of the church. Cutting the cake was Mrs. Marion Dodsor^ the bride’s sister-in-law. Miss Mary Miller Wood served punch and Mrs. Thomas W. Fincham was in charge of the guest book. For her wedding trip the bride wore a two-piece suit of turquoise linen with white accessories. Following a trip to Carolina Beach the couple will make their home in Washington, D. C. where Mr. Dickens is employed with National Geographic Society.
