Mr. Eggborn said, “HillBurton funds will not be available for this project. As of this week, gifts and pledges to the Hospital expansion totaled approximately $64,000. Among others included in this $64,000 is the $10,000 gift of the Hospital’s Auxiliary and the accumulative gift of the Culpeper County Ministerial Association. All persons contributing $1,000 or more toward the expansion project will be listed as a Cornerstone Club Member, on the Cornerstone Memorial plaque. The Expansion and alterations will involve over 5,000 square feet and when compared on a square footage basis to the original construction contract of 1958, will be approximately $4.15 less per square foot." If everything proceeds on schedule, the expansion project should be completed January 1, 1967.
