Mrs. Jessie Mae Carder. 78, of Culpeper, widow of Bernard A. Carder, died Wednes day, June 22, 1966 following a long illness. > She was a native of Rappahannock County, daughter of the late Silas Bruce Carder and Mary Elizabeth Spicer Carder. ' i Surviving are six sons, Silas W. Carder, Wallace A. Carder, Melvin A. Carder and Russell H. Carder, all of Culpeper, Cecil E. Carder of Bangkok, Thailand, and Harold F, Carder, of Fredericksburg. A funeral service was held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at Culpeper Baptist Church with interment in Fairview Cemetery. The Rev. John S. Farrar officiated assisted by the Rev. Emmett H. L. Snellings, Sr. Pallbearers were James R. Carder, Dalton Carder, Lewis M. Carder, William E. Carder, Ashby Glore, Clarence Gore, Wallace Spicer and Luther Spicer.
