Mrs. Lily Nickens Holland, wife of Joseph A. Holland of Washington, D. C. died Thursday, June 23, 1966. In addition to her husband she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Virginia Nickens Turner of Washington, D. C.;four sisters, Mrs. Mary Barfield of Los Angeles, Calif., Mrs. Sally Walton of Macon, Ga., Mi£. Lucy Brown of Washington, D. C. and Mrs. Havana Jeffries of Sperryville. A funeral service was held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church, Washington, Va., officiated by the Rev. Robert C. Davis. Interment was in the family cemetery.

John Early, Jr., 2 1/2 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. John Early of Amissville died Tuesday evening June 28,1966. Funeral arrangements were not complete at press time.
