grandson Wayne Carter and niece Mrs. Carrie Mills, both of Culpeper, spent Thursday in Washington, D. C. and Silver Spring, Md. Mr. and Mrs. Brew Burke left Sunday for Silver Spring, Md. where they are the guests of Mr. and Mrs. James Hamilton and Miss Peggy Burke. Carlyle Brown who has been ill at his home for several days entered the University of Virginia Hospital at Charlottesville on Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Robert J. Boyd of St. Petersburg, Fla. were guests from Monday flntil Thursday of Mr. and Mrs. George W. Thornhill. They left Thursday to visit Mrs. Boyd’s sister in Washington, D. C. Friday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Olney Kennedy were Mrs. James W. Cubbage and daughter Mrs. Dale Barnhart and her daughters Pattie and Carrie of Culpeper. Saturday evening visitors were Mr. and Mrs. Walter Fincham of Culpeper.
Mrs. Reva Hawkins of Washington, D. C. visited her brother, Carlyle Brown at University Hospital on Saturday afid was an overnight guest of Mrs. Carlyle Brown and Mr. aid Mrs. Tom Winkler. Mr6. George Hahn spent last week with her brother and sister-in-law Mr. and Mri.
