Addition Planned For

Culpeper Hospital

Contract for construction of Culpeper Memorial. HQspJttT* „ addition was signed Friday, June 24, 1966. E. Jackson Eggborn, President and Mrs. R. Maxwell Willis, Secretary, signed the $126,575 contract for the Hospital Board of Directors. The Directors approved the awarding of the contract for construction of the addition to H. B. Sedwick, Jr. Construction Company of Orange, low bidder, at the regular June meeting of the Board. The Sedwick Company was the only area bidder and was $16,925 below the other bidders.

In addition to contract construction cost, some $15,000 will be required for equipment and architect’s fees. After the contract was signed Mr. Egg born said, “This marks the culmination of over 2 years of hard work.” Included in the addition and alterations to be accomplished through this contract are construction of a new Emergency Room Entrance, Emergency Room Nurses’ Station, Emergency Operating Room, Emergency Treatment Rooms, Outpatient E.K.G.
