Lloyd J. Martin
Lloyd James Martin, 74, of Viewtown, Va. died Monday, June 27, 1966 at the residence of his brother and sister-inlaw, Mr. and Mrs. Edmond Martin where he had made his home since his retirement about five years ago. He was the son of the late Manuel A. Martin and the late Mary Qhorton Martin, both of Rappahannock County. He was a landscape gardener and spent most of his life in Philadelphia, Pa. He was predeceased by his wife Beulah Stradley Martin of Wilmington, Del. sisters, Mrs. Gertha Cave of Baltimore, Md. and Mrs. Blanche Douglas of Arlington; two brothers, Garnett A. Martin of Madison, N.J. and Edmond Martin, Viewtown. A graveside service was held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the family section of Forest Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Charles Kindred offi dating. Pallbearers were Megefee Utz, Theodore Barron, Edward Boldridge, John Boldridge, Garnett Martin, Jr., El mer Jenkins, and Francis Martin.
