Activities Tuesday included a panel discussion with the subject, “Values in Focus in Our World Community*. Participating in this were IF YE here and Virginia 4-H’erswho have been exchange youths in foreign lands. A 4-H Dress Revue was held Wednesday evening. “Miss Teenage America* of 1966 will speak to the delegates (today) Thursday evening. She is 17-year-old Colette Daiute of Phramus, N. J. and her subject will be the importance of safe driving habits which will be accompanied with slides.
Officers Elected
For Local Jaycees
New officers of the Rappahannock Jaycees have been elected and chosen for the presidency was Netus (Sonny) 3rown, who took the gavel from outgoing president Garfield Burke at the regular meeting Thursday. Other officers are: Wilson Burke, Internal Vice President; Ernest Eubank, External Vice President; Buster Hitt, Secretary; Jimmy Wayland, Treasurer; J. B. Willis, Jay Bird; Junior Leake, State Director; and F. D. Coffey, George Wharton and Sonny Anderson, on the Board of Directors. A new member, Jimmy Dodson, was welcomed to the group at this meeting.
