Miss Mildred Katherine Dodson, daughter of Mrs. Douglas Haywood Dodson and the late Mr. Dodson of Washington, Va., became the bride of Joseph Samuel Dickens of Culpeper in a three o’clock cere mony Saturday, June 25,1966, at the Washington Baptist Church. Mr. Dickens is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jasper Harold Dickens of Culpeper. The bride was given in marriage by hen-brother, Mitchell DodsoV of Uniontown, Ohio. She woS a formal gown of white peai de sole designed with all Empire waist and an A-line skirt. The bodice with its scooped neck and the long, tapered sleeves were of lace. Her fingertip veil of illusion fell from a crown. She carried a bouquet of white rosebuds and daisies. The Rev. William A. Harrison of Sperryville performed the ceremony before an altar decorated with baskets of mixed flowers and lighted candles. Nuptial music was played by Mrs. Mary Massle Cargill and soloist was Mrs. Aney Melton Massie who sang 'Because* and “The Lord's Prayer." Miss Shelia Dodson was maid
