The entire community was Baddened on Saturday afternoon to hear of the death of retired Commander Harold Davis who died in the Warren Memorial Hospital after a long illness. Mrs. Davis continues as a patient in the same hos-. pital. The Davises formerly lived in Arlington and had a home on the Skyverge subdivision where they had lived for a number of years. Mr. and Mrs. Phil Charles of Arlington were Friday visitors of Mrs. Ermand Morris and family. Mrs. James Harris and daughter are spending some time with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Andrew R. Williams while her husband is on sea duty. The Harris family, who has been living at New London, Conn., will be transferred to Charleston, S. C. the first part of July.
LeMerle Williams spent the weekend in Manassas and at Chesapeake Beach, Md. Bradley Williams and Downing Williams were in Charlottesville on Monday.
