Trooper Whitehurst

James G. Whitehurst of Virginia Beach, a conditionally appointed Trooper, has been assigned to Rappahannock County for a training period and will be working with Troopers J. B. Willis and W. A. Buntin. Mr. Whitehurst will attend the next basic training school in Richmond beginning August 15. He is living in the home of Mrs. Virginia Lewis in Sperryville.
Annual Va. Angus Breeders Show
The Sixth Annual Virginia Breeders’ Show and the Second Annual Virginia Junior Breed ers’ Show will be held August 2 starting at 9 a.m. at the Culpeper Agricultural Enterprises.
Exhibited in this show will be more than 125 head of superior Angus breeding stock representing 23 Virginia Angus breeding establishments, according to Dave Leonard Executive Secretary, Virginia Angus Association, Inc. The Virginia Breeders’ Show is recognized throughout the nation and contains stockfrom a large number of Angus breed ing farms, Leonard said. James Keen, Manager of Moles Hill Farm, Sharon, Connecticut, will be the Judge for the Sixth Annual Show. The Virginia Angus Association, which has its headquarters in Charlottesville, is sponsor of the annual event.
