Sales Tax Seminars
Set In State
Final plans have been completed for the series of seminars on the new sales tax, scheduled at 22 locations in the state by the Virginia Retail Merchants Association, with the cooperation of the State Department of Taxation. Questions and answers on the sales tax which becomes effective Sept. 1 also will be released by the VRMA to all newspapers, radio and television stations in Virginia, as part of its intensive public relations program. They also will appear in the August issue of the Retail Review, official publication of the VRMA. According to Sumpter T.
