Airman Floyd M. Utz has completed his basic training at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas and is now stationed at Chanute Technical Training Center, Chanute, 111. Here he is scheduled to attend maintenance school for 23 weeks. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Menefee Utz of Castleton.

Mr. and Mrs. Francis Priest of Culpeper were Monday visitors of Mrs. John Poe. Mrs. T. W. Latham is spend ing a few days in Washington, D. C. with Mrs. C. C. Curtis. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Heflin and family and Mrs. W. W. Walter of The Plains were visitors Saturday of Mr. and Mrs. S. W. Riley and of Mrs. J. L. Walter. Mrs. Julia Curtis of Stevensburg is visiting Mrs. J. L. Walter. Miss Ann Coffman of Mt. Sidney was an overnight guest Friday of Miss Landra Dennis. Tuesday Mrs. G. H. Dennis, Miss Landra Dennis and their houseguest, Miss Lisa Luttrell of Scotch Plains, N. J. visited Luray Caverns. Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Lawrence and family, Mrs. C. G. Lawrence, Edward Lawrence and Mr. and Mrs. George Lawrence attended a reunion of the Lawrence family held Sunday at Bon Air Park in Arlington. Kay Lawrence daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Lawrence left Monday to attend 4-H Camp at Appomattox this week. Elwood Dean and Mr. and Mrs. T. W. Latham were dinner guests Sunday of Mr; and Mrs. G. E. Doyle. Miss Becky Crossman of Rapidan is spending this week as the.guest of Cheryl,Ppiing at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Poling. Philip, Susan and Mark Walk er of Culpeper returned to their home Monday after spend ing a week with their grandmother, Mrs. Ethel Cooksey. They were accompanied home by their mother, Mrs. A. C.
