Amissville Rescue Squad took Mrs. Jessie Stringfellow to Culpeper Memorial Hospital last Thursday. Amissville Fire Company responded to an alarm last Wednesday to a field fire at Eggbornsville, but were turned back by radio after the blaze was quelled. Sunday the Amissville Company answered an alarm to a field and woods blaze on the property of A. W. Fergueson at Jeffersonton where about two acres were burned over. Monday they responded to the Jim Magee home where burning trash had ignited a wood pile. At the same time another Amissville unit was called to a field and woods blaze at the property of Mr. Graham, formerly owned by the Harry Halls. Flint Hill Rescue Squad was called to Huntly to take Bobby Frye from the scene of an accident to Warren Memorial Hospital, Front Royal. On Sunday David Foster was taken from his home to Warren Memorial by this squad. Henry Brown Jenkins was taken from Jenkins Hollow to Culpeper Memorial Hospital on Monday by the Flint Hill squad. The Rappahannock Rescue Squad took Mrs. John Cargill of Washington from the office of Dr. Snead in Sperryville to Culpeper Memorial Hospital Monday. Rappahannock Rescue Squad was called to the home of Mrs. Nellie Mae Keyser early Wednesday morning and took her son to Warren Memorial Hospfr tal.
