Monday, December 5, 1966 is the dealine for paying personal property and realestate taxes in Rappahannock County in order to avoid a 5% penalty which goes into effect the following day. Taxes are payable to Robert L. Brown, Treasurer at his office in Washington, Va. or may be mailed to that office. If mailed, all letters must bear a postmark not later than midnight December 5 to avoid the penalty.
Shiloh *M’ Night In Culpeper Dec. 4
The Annual Shiloh Associational “M" Night will be held in the Culpeper Baptist Church on Sunday, December 4, from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The chosen theme is "Disciples Trained and Committed", and features the Baptist State Training Union Secretary Dr. H. Walten Connelly, Jr. as the guest speaker. The evening’s activities also include a drama; special music; and special emphases. A fellowship period will follow, "This annual mass meeting of Baptists is for all Christians seeking to further one’s own knowledge and in becoming better trained in the Lord’s work", reports Director Joseph S. Durrer, Jr.
