Book Fair
Starts Tomorrow
Five hundred current books for young people of all ages go on display Friday at 2 o'clock in the Rappahannock Library. Books for preschool children with a good selection of cutout and picture books will be featured. Grade school and high school works by some of the best authors will be in good supply. The exhibit itself will equal any outside the metropolitan area, and will be worth looking over. This exhibit will help make Christmas shopping easier for many parents who have difficulty getting good books

Parents a~na cfiTTcTren may view and purchase books any time between 2 and 5 o’clock on Friday; on Saturday from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. and a special opening of the Fair will take place Sunday to help those attending Church services. The Library will stay open from 12 until 4 p.m.
Christmas Cantata Set At Front Royal Dec. 4
The Front Royal Oratorio Society will present a Christmas cantata, The Son of Man, compiled by Howard D. McKinley, Sunday, December 4 at 8 p.m. in the Front Royal Presbyterian Church. The music is a collection of compositions by ancient and contemporary composer^ narrator will be Dr. Robert Parker of Randolph Macon Academy. Director is Ronald E. Johnston, minister of music at Front Royal Baptist Church and organist is Helen C. Smith. The chorus is made up of members of church choirs in Front Royal and surrounding areas. The public is cordially invited to attend the concert.
