Deer Jumps Through Auto Windshield Mon.
A deer crashed through the vindshield of a vehicle on Rt. >11 just west of Washington Vlonday afternoon. The animal sounded across the highway Into the front of the car. Dperator of the-vehicle and a passenger in it sustained numerous cuts from the shattered ?lass and were taken to Warren Memorial.Hospital by the Rappahannock Rescue Squad where they were treated and released. The two men were From Ohio, but their names were not obtained.

Parade Friday
few weeks in Front Royal the Christmas season will officially arrive in the town Friday evening with the annual Christmas parade which is scheduled to begin promptly at 6:30 p.m. Grand Marshal of the parade this year is Ron Snidow, defensive tackle for the Washing ton Redskins. This is his fourth year with the team. He is a native of Newport News and attended the University of Ore gon where he won the Hoffman award as outstanding Oregon player in his senior year, Miss Virginia, Linda Jc Maclin will also be an honox guest in the parade along witf state and local officials. Parade entries include numerous commercial and civic floats, bands, majorettes, antique cars, marching units and beat ty queens. Among these wil be the Honorary Fire Chiefs from Washington and Chestei Gap.
Santa will make his appearance as a finale and wil have candy for the youngsters as he wishes them a Merrj Christmas.
The parade forms on Virginia Avenue, goes up Thirc Street to North Royal, turns south on North Royal, goes tc Main Street, down to Chestei Street where it disbands.
