Pursuant to and by virtue of a decree of the Circuit Court of the County of Rappahannock, Virginia, made and entered on the 17th day of November, 1966, in the Partition Suit therein pending under the style of Margaret G. Jordan et al v. James L. Jordan, Jr. et al (Chancery No. 2407) George H. Davis, Jr., the undersigned Special Commissioner will offer for sale at Public Auction to the highest bidder on—

At the Front Door of the Court House,
in Washington, Virginia,
all that certain parcel of land Edward Jordan and James Jordan died seized and possessed of located about one mile West of Flint Hill, Wakefield Magisterial District. Rappahannock County, on State Route No. 606 and being Lot No. 10. together with the right of way as shown on the Eastham Subdivision plat and survey by J. E. Sutphin. Surveyor, dated September 8, 1921, in the Clerk’s Office of said Court, recorded in Deed Book 32, page 191, et seq.. to which, reference is hereby made for further description.
Sale of the above property shall be subject to the approval and confirmation of the Court.
TERMS OF SALE: CASH. Ten per cent (10rc) of the purchase price on the day of sale to be paid by the successful bidder, and the balance in cash on or before 10 days after the date of said sale, during which time the purchaser shall be allowed to examine title to the said property. In the event of resale, the 10G- deposit paid by the defaulting purchaser shall be retained by the court as liquidated damages. And it is further ordered that all said purchase money be deposited to the credit of the Circuit Court of Rappahannock County, Chancery Cause Nq. 2407, in the Flint Hill Branch of the Citizens National Bank of Front Royal, Virginia, by the purchaser of said real estate and taking from said bank a certificate or certificates showing said deposit or deposits and deliver the same to the Clerk of said Court.
