guests of Judge and Mrs. B. M. Miller. Mrs. J. Scant Weaver is a patied* at the University of Virginia Hospital which she , entered last Friday for treatment. Mr. and Mrs. Leo Wood of Takoma park, Md. were weekend guests in the Weaver home and Mrs. Wood remained for the week. Col. and Mrs. E. A. McNear of Vint Hill spent the weekend at their home Greenwood. Staff Sgt. Calvin Racer on military duty in Germany was called here by the death of his uncle and foster father Ollie W. Fincham. Sgt. Racer is remaining for a 30 day leave. The Rev. Charles F. Glaenzer spent several days the first of the week visiting friends in the Washington, D. C. area. Mr. and Mrs. Dan Price of Front Royal were visitors Sun day afternoon of Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Miller at Miller mead.
