^ All members and Interested sfriends are invited to hear Dr. ;Newman Hall speak on the migration of early families and the chief sources of lineage ■and the libraries where this information can be found. Dr. Hall will come to us fjfom Washington, D.C. where ■he is Executive Director for the Commission on Engineering Education. He received his *Ph.D. from California Tech, and has held professorships at Yale and Minnesota University.
Dr. Hall has done considerable research on the sources of ^information on early Virginia families and their migration. , { The Historical Society meeting will be held at the Courl House at 8 p.m., Wednesday, December 14. ;? Members and any interested friends are invited to participate in this program.

r The Washington Volunteer Fire Company and Rappahannock Rescue Squad will hold their regular monthly meeting on Monday, December 12, 1966 at the fire house beginning at 8 p.m. At this meeting officers will be elected for the two organizations for the coming year, therefore, all members are urged to attend.
