that his department would work closely with the School Board on the road to the new elementary school. Types of road surface for parking areas were discussed at length. Difficulties which had arisen concerning the disposal plant at the jail were discussed and the Rev. Charles Glaenzer agreed to work with the Sheriff’s Department on this project. It was believed that a drain field was impaired causing the tank to over flow. Current bills were discussed and approved for payment and routine claims against the dog fund approved before adjournment.

School Holiday

The schools in Rappahannock County will close at 2:30 p.m. December 21, 1966 for the Christmas Holidays and will reopen January 3, 1967 for the second session. This is a change from the original schedule, according to Superintendent O. A. Norton.
