The marriage of Miss Sandra Lee Rowzie, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph HamiltorrBjpwzte of Amissville to the ft eve r dmd ' ~J oh n Harrison Willis III took place Saturday, December 3, 1966. Mr. Willis is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Harrison Willis, jr. of Lignum.
The double ring ceremony was performed by the Reverend Charles Kindred at four o’clock in the afternoon at Amissville Baptist Church. The church wa6 decorated with candles, palms, and arrangements of white gladioli and chrysanthemums. Mrs. John Fielding of Warrenton presented a program of nuptial music and played the traditional wedding marches. The bride, who was' given in marriage by her father-, wore a full length gown of white peau satin designed with a fitted bodice and long sleeves taper ed over the wrists. The scooped neckline was edged with an applique of Alencon lace enhanced with tiny seed pearls. A large bow accented the waist line in the back and the full skirt ended in a chapel train. She wore a pearl necklace, a gift from the bridegroom. Her elbow length veil of silk illusion fell from a double coronet of pearls and crystals and she carried a cascade of white miniature fugi mums and stephanotis centered with a white orchid.
