Eastham - Hawkins

The marriage of Miss Gloria Jeane Hawkins to Edwin Marion Eastham III took place Saturday, November 26, 1966 at 4 p.m. in the First Baptist Church, Front Royal. The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Rlxey Smith of Front Royal and die late Otis M. Hawkins, Jr. Mr. Eastham is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Edwin M. Eastham, also of Front Royal. He is 'die grandson of Mrs. Edwin M. Eastham, Flint Hill. The Rev. Lawrence Matthews of Vienna, former minister of die church, performed the ceremony before a setting of white flower arrangements, palms and candles.

Ronald Johnston, organist, played a program of wedding music and accompanied Mrs. Johnston who sang *0 Perfect Love" and "Benediction prayer". Given in marriage by Mr. Smith, the bride wore a long gown of peau de sole with a detachable train. The Empire bodice was fashioned of Alencon face and embroidered in seed pearls. .Lace motifs enhance d the elbow length sleeves and the skirt. Her veil of illusion was attached to a tiara of seed pearls
